Unfortunately no winners this week but we saw some very encouraging performances from all the dogs and they are looking good for the coming weeks.
Club Dogs Performances
Bullseye Cooba – Cooba ran on Saturday afternoon in what looked a match race with trap 4. She ended up finishing second after starting marginally slower than trap 4 and not quite making the bend In front. With a time of 23.90 she ran well and is in a very winnable grade for the coming weeks. Her name change to our Bullseye prefix has now gone through so she will be Bullseye Cooba from next week.
Bullseye Dolly – Dolly’s only run this week came on Saturday morning in the second race of the day, the inside dogs broke very well and made the bend in front of her hampering her in the process. She stayed on well from that point to only narrowly be beaten for third place by Toms other runner in the race.
Bullseye Lola – Lola trapped well in only her second 714m start but was soon overtaken by trap 6 losing her early lead after losing the lead early. She was forced wide around the second bend costing her valuable ground over a distance that she probably need to lead over. After further crowding around the seventh bend she ended up finishing last, she is still getting used to the distance, but will be dropped down in trip next week to ease her into it.
Bullseye Destiny – Destiny ran twice this week. Firstly on Tuesday finishing last in a tough S4 contest after missing the break and finding a lot of trouble in running. After her recent brilliant form she has rose through the grades over both her distances, which means her races are much tougher. However we believe she can still be competitive in S4 and she proved that on Saturday in her second race of the week finishing second. After showing some brilliant early pace she was eventually picked up by trap 1 who in hindsight was very well drawn on the rails.
Bullseye Bully – Bully is still with the FOCRG and doing well we will keep you updated on his homing when we have more news.
We are appearing as guests on RPGTV this Saturday so we hope you get chance to tune in. Any emails are appreciated.
